मसूर की दाल का कटलेट एक बड़ा ही हेल्थी नाश्ता रेसिपी है जो पहले से तैयार किया जा सकता है और बच्चो को लंच बॉक्स में भी दिया जा सकता है. 

Masoor daal cutlet is a gluten free breakfast or tea time snack which can be used in lunch box or tiffin. It is a  protein packed recipe. Do give it a try and let me know how did you like it:
 Ingredients:
 Masoor daal-1.5 cups
Oil-2 tbsp
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Onion-2 medium sized chopped
Garlic paste-1 tsp
Ginger chopped- 1 inch piece
Salt- to taste
Garam masala-1 tsp
Roasted cumin powder-1 tsp
Chaat masala-1 tsp
Amchur (Dry Mango) powder-1 tsp
Lemon juice-1
Coriander leaves-1/4 cup
Green chillies-3

Method:
1- Wash and soak daal for 2 hours.
2- After daal is soaked grind it to a fine paste by adding little water.
3- In a pan add 1 tbsp oil and add cumin seeds, once cumin seeds start to crackle add 1 chopped onion and cook till turn golden.
4- While onion is turning golden add asafoetida and garlic paste to it and cook.
5- Now add all and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.
6- Add salt and garam masala and mix well.
7- Cool down the cooked daal and add 1 onion chopped, green chilli, Coriander leaves, chaat masala, Amchur(Dry Mango) powder, Roasted cumin powder and lemon juice and mix well.
8- Set it in a greased tray for minimum of 4 hours or overnight.
9- After letting it set for overnight cut in to square pieces and cook it on medium heat by adding little oil/ghee or butter to the pan from both the sides for 3-4 minutes.
10- Serve it with green chutney or ketchup .
