Ingredients:

1 cup moong dal (green gram), soaked for 3-4 hours
1 inch ginger
2 green chilies
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 cup finely chopped onions (optional)
1/4 cup grated carrots (optional)
Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
Water (as required)
Oil (for greasing)
Method:

Soak the moong dal for 3-4 hours and drain the water.
Grind the moong dal along with ginger, green chilies, and cumin seeds into a smooth batter. Add water as needed.
