Like rice but NOT RICE ! This is just 25 calories / serve (40 g) & is perfect for those who want to eat low carbs. This is Shirataki rice which is very easy to make. I made a Chinese style fried rice with this. Added lots of veggies & tofu to make it a complete meal.

1 tsp Oil
4 to 5 cloves of garlic
1 chilli, finely chopped chopped
1/2 tsp ginger
1 spring onion stalk
1/2 cup veggies – baby corn, carrots & green beans
1 tbsp homemade chilli garlic sauce
75 g Tofu
2 tsp light soy sauce
About 60 g Shirataki rice ( used 60 g water to rehydrate it)

– Use boiling hot water to hydrate shirataki else you can also microwave it
– I washed it once to make it less sticky
– Do not over cook it when you are cooking it / tossing it with veggies etc
