Xander’s Club Sandwich Recipe
Sauce
1/2 cup mayo
2 tbsp Ketchup
1 tbsp chilli sauce (not tabasco)
1 tsp garlic powder
• Mix all ingredients and set aside
Chicken Filling
1 chicken breast with tenderloin
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika powder
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp mustard paste
• Pound the chicken on the counter to flatten
• Mix all the ingredients together & Marinade for 30 minutes
• Fry on a hot pan till cooked (avoid overcooking else chicken will get rubbery)
• Cut the chicken lengthwise against the grain and put aside
Omelette
2 eggs
Salt & pepper
To assemble
6 large sandwich bread slices (toasted on both sides)
Turkey bacon slices (fried)
Thinly sliced Tomato
Thinly sliced Cucumber
Lettuce
Cheddar Cheese slices
• Take a slice of bread and put sauce, chicken strips, omelette and bacon on top.
• Place another slice of bread (sauce on both sides) on top.
• Put cheese, tomato slices, Cucumber slices and lettuce. Seal with the final bread on top
• Cut the corners of the sandwich with a sharp knife
Serve with coleslaw, ketchup and fries
