INGREDIENTS
* 1½ cup organic All purpose flour.
* 1 cup Yogurt
* 2 tsp Baking powder
* ½ tsp Salt
* 1 Egg whisked
* Olive oil or any healthy oil to avoid dough sticking to surface.
* Your choice of seasoning(optional). I used Everything bagel seasoning.
INSTRUCTIONS
– Preheat your Air Fryer to 350°F. Air Fryer makes your bagel’s crust crispy. If using Oven, preheat to 400°F.
– Line the baking pan with parchment paper.
– Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl or a standing mixer.
– Add the yogurt and combine the dough completely.
– Roll out the dough onto an oily surface so that the dough doesn’t stick.
– Divide the dough into 4 equal balls.
– Make a hole in the center of the dough ball and gently stretch and shape into circle, use oil to smooth out any cracks.
– Place the bagels on the pan, leaving some space in between to expand.
– Brush the top of bagels with a very light coat of egg. Don’t over do it, otherwise you will get a scrambled egg look on top.
– Sprinkle seasoning of your choice.
– Bake in the Air Fryer or in Oven for 10 minutes.
– Flip the bagels and bake for another 10 minutes.
– Let them cool slightly & serve with your favorite spread.
