INGREDIENTS:
▪️20 gyoza (Japanese pork available from Woolies/Coles)
▪️4 miso soup sachets (available from Woolies/Coles)
▪️1 tsp ginger paste
▪️4 tbsp soy sauce
▪️4 small carrots, shredded
▪️1 large bunch broccolini
▪️2 heads bok choy, bases trimmed
▪️4 cups edamame beans
▪️4 spring onions, thinly sliced, to garnish
▪️Sesame seeds, to garnish (optional)
METHOD
1️⃣Steam the gyoza, broccolini, bok choy, and carrots together in the large basket for about 8 minutes, until the gyoza are cooked through and the vegetables are tender-crisp.
2️⃣Add the edamame to the small basket and cook for 8 minutes, then season with a pinch of salt.
3️⃣In a large jug, mix the miso sachets, soy sauce, and ginger paste with about 5 cups of hot (not boiling) water to create a light broth.
4️⃣Divide the steamed vegetables and edamame between four bowls, then add the gyoza on top.
5️⃣Pour over the hot broth, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and finish with sliced spring onion.
6️⃣Serve immediately and enjoy while it’s steaming hot.
