Hi All,

Today I am sharing an easy, delicious and super healthy cutlet recipe. It is gluten free and vegan too. This recipe can be made within 15 minutes if you have raw banana steamed. You can also make this cutlet using steamed potatoes.

You can use this cutlet as a burger patty or sandwich filling . It will be great in wraps and in pita pockets too. You can send these for school lunch box or even as a tea time snack.

So simple to make with just a few ingredients in hand but so tasty. Do try and share your family feedback .

Raw Banana Cutlet aka Healthy Cutlet Recipe By Masterchefmom:

Preparation time : 10 minutes
Cooking time : 17-20 minutes
Makes: 7 cutlets
1 cup = 250 ml cup

Ingredients ;

2 small raw banana/plantain
1/4 cup green peas (cooked)
1-2 tablespoon beetroot (grated)
1-2 tablespoon carrot ( grated)
1/4 teaspoon kitchen king masala
1/4 teaspoon jeera powder
1/8 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon dry ginger powder
1-2 teaspoons rice flour (adjust)
Salt to taste
Oil to shallow fry

Method :

1. In a wide bowl, mash the raw banana.
2. Add vegetables, spice powders and mash well.
3. Add rice flour and mix to make a stiff dough.
4. Pinch small portions and shape them in desired shapes.
5. Heat oil in the pan and shallow fry the cutlets .
6. Flip and cook both sides till they nice and crispy.

Your delicious raw banana cutlets are now ready to be served ! You can serve it with chutney or sauces of your choice.
