Sometimes I like to make homemade soy milk because fresh milk is always best. After squeeze the milk, you get Okara (soybean meal).But I don’t like the texture of the Okara which has full of nutrition. I tried to make meat balls, cookies, pancakes,etc…I couldn’t enjoy that. But this bread was taste great. Hope you try this recipe.
===== Ingredients =====
-For homemade soy milk
Soy beans 150 g
Water 350-450 ml
-For dough
All purpose Flour 230 g
Okara 230 g
Molasses 2 Tbsp
Active dry yeast 1/4 Tsp
Salt 1/4 Tsp
Warm water 50 ml +
Oil 2 Tbsp
Black Sesame seeds for topping
===== Recipe =====
-Making homemade soy milk
Wash the soy beans & soak in water for about 7-12 hours.
Remove water & wash the beans.Place the beans & water in blender.
Blend it about 2-3 minutes.
Pour the large pan & cook for about 15-30 minutes in medium heat.
Remove bubble on top.using fine cloth or nut bag for dividing liquid & meat.
-Making dough
Warm water, molasses, yeast into bowl and let activate yeast for about 5 minutes.
Put Okara & flour and salt into a large bowl and pour yeast mixture.
Mix until all dough come together.
Add oil & knead by hand until smooth surface.
Cover dough and let it rest for 30- 60 minutes.
Stretch the dough & roll it..
Place the dough on baking pan.
Preheat oven for 190°C or 375°F.
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
