Banana Nut Bread is an easy banana bread recipe, perfect for those last minute guests or lazy weekend breakfasts. Made with ripe bananas, tangy-sweet raisins and crunchy walnuts this homemade bread is so airy and moist.
INGREDIENTS
Sugar (brown or white)-3/4 cup
Unsalted butter-125g
Ripe bananas-3
Eggs-2 (at room temperature)
All-purpose flour-1½ cup
Baking soda-1 tsp
Salt- ½ tsp
Vanilla extract-1 tsp
Walnuts-1 small cup
Raisins-half cup
Method
Cream the butter and sugar together with beater. Mix ripe bananas and eggs until combined. Add flour, baking soda, salt, vanilla extract, walnuts and raisins. Fold together until combined. Smooth out the top. Preheat the oven at gas mark 4(180°C) and bake for 55-60 mins.
