Here the Method of preparation of the Layered Pancake or Layered Flatbread or Layered Tortilla is given
Preparation
Take 2 glasses of all purpose flour. Mix in a tablespoon of sugar and salt to taste and mix in 3/4th cup of water and knead the flour to make a nice dough. Make this dough into a ball. Let the dough rest after pouring some oil on top for an hour. After and hour Knead and stretch the dough for 15 minutes and make the dough into small balls. Let these balls rest for 15 minutes. Flatten out the dough ball by hand into a retangular shape until the flour is translucent. Apply oil while flattening so that the dough does not break . Cut the flattened dough into thin vertical strips. From both sides fold the strips towards the center and roll the resulting string into a roll and wedge in the end of the roll into the centre . Let it rest for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes flatten the rolls with the hand into a circle and fry the flattened pieces for 5 to 10 minutes by turning from side to side. Apply butter or oil on the Flatbreads or tortillas while frying. After frying Put the flatbreads or Tortillas on top of each other and apply pressure on the sides so as to separate the layers. Serve with stew of your choice
