Hi Guys! This time I will show you my favorite whole-wheat bread recipe. I love sourdough bread, but I love to eat healthy food as well, so voila! Whole-grain sourdough bread recipe ! You can make this tasty sourdough bread with whole-wheat flour, whole-grain spelt flour, or even whole-grain rye flour – this one is my best bread ever! I can not imagine a better healthy breakfast than an avocado sandwich with this rye sourdough bread (or whole-wheat/spelt:) and some eggs aside…Yum!
INGREDIENTS:
The night before… Make the “Levain”:
(fermentation- overnight or up to 14 hours)
1 cup of a sourdough starter
100 ml of room temperature water
100 g of whole-grain flour (in the video I am using the whole-wheat flour)
Next day morning:
fermentation up between 8 -14 hours
650 g of room temperature water
870 g of whole-wheat flour
15 g of fine sea salt (or regular salt)
