INGREDIENTS

1 cup – Couscous
1 cup – Hot Water
1 tsp – Salt
2 tsp – Olive Oil/ Any Oil
1 tsp – Tadka (musturd, jeera, urad dal)
1 tsp – Channa dal
1 small – Onion
1 no – Green Chilli Finely Chopped
1/2 tsp – Ginger Garlic Paste
2 tbsp – Sweet Corn
2 tbsp – Green Peas
2 tbsp – Carrots
Salt – To Taste
1/4 tsp – Turmeric
1/2 tsp – Chilli Powder
2 tbsp – Coriander Leaves
half – Lemon

FOR PREPARING COUSCOUS

For 1 cup of couscous, add 1 tsp salt and 1 cup of hot water, give it a mix and leave it for 10 minutes.

1. In a pan, add oil, tadka and fry till tadka turns golden.
2. Add finely chopped onions and fry till translucent, add ginger garlic paste and green chilli.
3. Add the vegetable’s and fry for 2 minutes and then add the dry masalas.
4. Add some water to cook the veggies and cook till they are cooked.
5. Now take the couscous and give it a mix and add into the prepared masala.
6. Give it a mix, and fry for 2 to 3 minutes and add the coriander leaves and lemon juice and turn off the flame.
7. Delicious and healthy couscous is ready to serve.
