Here I have made healthy recipes with barnyard millets.

Barnyard or Sanwa millet(kudhiraivali arisi) supports those with diabetes and heart disease. It contains 50-60% carbohydrates and an excellent source of protein, healthy fats.It helps to strengthen bones and boosts skin and hair health.

Ingredients:
GREEN MILLET RICE:
To make green paste,
Green leaves ( any type) – 1 handful
Garlic – 2 cloves
Shallots – 5 or 6
Green chilli
For Green rice,
Garlic – 2 cloves
Green paste
Millet – 1 cup
WHITE MILLET RICE:
Cloves, cinnamon sticks, briyani leaves
Onion – 1
Garlic – 2 cloves
Green chilli – 2
Shredded coconut – 1/2 cup
Millets – 1 cup
SAFFRON MILLET RICE:
Mustard seeds, urad dal, cumin seeds
Onion – 2
Garlic – 2 cloves
Chilli Powder – 1/2 tspn
Coriander powder – 1/4 tspn
Millet – 1 cup
