Within 4.5 months I lost 40 pounds on the WW program and one of the biggest changes was cooking and finding meals I enjoy but also lower in calories. These are some of my favorite meals that are very delicious, fulfilling, and trackable calories.
Nonfat greek yogurt- it’s not my favorite but it fills you up for breakfast and are not counted on the WW program so we love to fill it with fruits and 1/3 cup of lowfat almond granola from TJ.
Bagel and lox- We try to do an open face bagel using half the bagel with smoked salmon, fried egg, tomato, onion, and light cream cheese.
Chicken sandwich- using low count hamburger buns, lettuce, tomato, onions, small amount of pesto, 2 pieces of breaded chicken breast from TJ.
Pulled Jackfruit- I’m very surprised how jackfruit tastes like meat when you simmer it, it gets tender and when you season it with reduced sugar bbq sauce and coleslaw, you’ll never know how vegan friendly it is. This became an instant favorite and believe me, I questioned trying jackfruit but if Trader Joe’s has it on their recipe list, it means it’s going to be amazing!
Pizza with 2 ingredient dough- I have a separate tutorial on this, reduces the calories so significantly and it still tastes so delicious. I practically went on a pizza diet!
