Ingredients & Quantity
1Cup Paneer sliced evenly (cottage cheese)
2 Tbs Olive oil
1 Tej Pata
1/2 cup roughly chopped onions
1 tbs Jeera
1 cup chopped onions
1/4 tbs haldi
1/4 tbs garam masala
2 tbs coriander powder
1/2 tbs chili powder (or more to taste)
1/2 cup capsicum
2 tbs ginger – garlic paste
1/2 cup roughly chopped tomato
4 tbs tomato puree
2 tbs fresh cream
1 tbs Kasoori methi
salt to taste
Method
– Take a pan and heat Olive oil
– Once the oil is hot, add tej pata and jeera to it
– Now add finely chopped onions to it
– Sauté for 3-4 mins till the onions are soft and golden
– Add ginger – garlic paste to it and cook for 3-4 mins again
– Now add spices; red chili, garam masala, turmeric powder and coriander powder and mix well adding some water
– Add tomato puree and cook for 2-3 mins
– Once this is done add capsicum and cook for 4-5 mins, don’t overcook the capsicum we need a crunch here in capsicum
– Add salt now and mix well
– Now add roughly chopped onions to it and cook for another 4-5mins
– Add roughly chopped tomato and cook for 3-4mins
– You can add some water if you see the gravy is little dry
– Now add fresh cream and then Paneer cubes/Cottage cheese cubes
– Sprinkle some Kasuri Methi and serve hot with Chapati or rice
