BREAKFAST
*cinnamon sweet potato porridge*
1. bake 1 sweet potato in the oven for 40-50min on 180 celsius
2. scoop out half of the sweet potato, mash in a pan with 2 tbsp water and add following spices: 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/8 tsp cardamon, dash of salt and pepper
3. cook for 2 min then add 1/2 cup of oats along with 1 cup of water
4. cook until all the water is absorbed, pour over in a bowl and add your favourite toppings. I used 2-3 tbsp of coconut kefir for extra vegan probiotics. But other good toppings for vata dosha are: tahini, seeds (pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, …) or nuts if they have been soaked beforehand (to improve digestion)
