— Pulled Chicken Sandwich Ingredients —
– Salad Leaves: 2-3 leaves
– Sandwich or Brawn Bread: 2 slices
– Chicken: 100 grams boneless
– Jalapeno (Optional): As per taste
– Olives (Optional) As per taste
– BBQ Sauce: 2 tb spoon
– Garlic Mayo / Mayonnaise: 2-3 tb spoon
– Onion: 1 small
– Vinegar: 1 tb spoon
– Soy Sauce: 1 tb spoon
– Honey / Sugar Water: 1 tb spoon
– Black Pepper: 1 teaspoon flat
– Salt: 1 teaspoon flat
Pulled Chicken Sandwich Recipe Step by Step
— Step 1 —
Add 1 glass water in a pan and add chicken and 1 teaspoon salt in it. Cover the pan for 15 minutes on low flame or till chicken is tender. After it is done, remove chicken and save this broth, we will use it in the next steps. Pull this chicken properly with forks or manually with hands.
— Step 2 —
Now add 1 tb spoon butter in a hot pan. Once butter is melted, add pulled chicken in it. Add 1 teaspoon salt, black pepper, vinegar, soy sauce, and honey in it. Add chicken broth (that we saved in step 1) in it. Cover the pan and let it cook for 10 minutes on medium flame or till chicken broth dries. Remove this chicken in a bowl because it is ready now.
— Step 3 —
Add 1 teaspoon butter in the same pan that we used in step 2. Now add onion in it to caramelize it well.
— Step 4 —
Apply mayonnaise graciously on bread slices. Place salad leaves on 1 bread and add pulled chicken on it. Now add caramelized onion, olives, jalapeno on this sandwich. Then add BBQ sauce on it as per your taste. You can replace this BBQ sauce with any sauce of your choice/liking.
Serve it with french fries for a delicious mid-day snack.
