CALORIES!!! Do we have to count calories if we want to lose or maintain our weight? After all, isn’t calories in vs. calories out the ultimate determinant of weight loss and weight maintenance? Hm… I explore that in this video. We talk all about calories on a vegan, Whole Foods plant based diet! Whether you call is HCLF, WSLF, Starch Solution, McDougall Plan, SOS free, Alan Goldhamer’s diet – WHATEVA! In this video I talk about why I don’t count calories and WHY we DON’T need to count calories when we are eating a diet comprised of starches, vegetables, fruits and legumes. We talk about caloric density, turning carbs into fat, de novo lipogenesis, and all that fun stuff!! On this lifestyle, you can eat as much as you want, as often as you want, until comfortably full and you will not become overweight. Carbs don’t make ya fat 😉
