Quick and healthy dinner! Salmon with pasta and sauce! Amazing recipe
Ingredients (for 2-3 people):
250 g pasta (spaghetti, penne, fusilli, etc.)
300 g boneless fish meat (such as cod fillet, salmon, or trout)
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
200 ml tomato sauce or 2 chopped tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon juice (optional)
A little chopped parsley for decoration
Instructions:
Cook the pasta:
Cook according to the instructions on the package, drain and set aside. Save a little of the pasta water (about ½ cup).
Prepare the fish meat:
In a pan, heat the olive oil and add the garlic. Sauté for 1 minute.
Add the fish fillets cut into small pieces. Fry until cooked and slightly falling apart (3 minutes).
Add a little salt, pepper and a little lemon juice if desired.
Adding the sauce:
Add the tomato sauce and mix. Let it simmer for 3 minutes so that the flavors combine.
Mixing with the pasta:
Add the cooked pasta to the pan, mix well.
Add a little of the pasta water if you want a thinner sauce.
Serving:
Serve warm with chopped parsley on top. You can also add a little cheese if you wish (if you don’t want to keep it traditional “seafood”).
