Tired of overnight oats? This cream of rice version is creamier, high in protein, easy to prep, and ready for you the next morning.
In this video, I’m at the grocery store showing you how to make one of my favorite high-protein breakfast options for busy mornings. If you want a simple breakfast that helps you hit your protein goals, tastes great, and gives you another easy meal prep option, this is a great one to keep in rotation. It’s quick, realistic, and fits real life.
Recipe Breakdown:
1 serving Cream of Rice, cooked and cooled
1 serving Fage Fat Free Yogurt
1 scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
1/2 cup Fairlife Fat Free Milk
Optional: 1 tbsp Lily’s Chocolate Chips
Optional: 1 tbsp Almond Butter
Optional: drizzle of honey
Directions:
Cook 1 serving of cream of rice and let it cool. Add the Fage fat free yogurt, vanilla whey protein, and Fairlife fat free milk. Mix until smooth and creamy. Add the optional chocolate chips and almond butter if you want more of a dessert-style breakfast. Top with a drizzle of honey if you want a little extra flavor. Refrigerate overnight and it’s ready to go by morning.
This is a great overnight oats alternative if you want something creamier, easy to make, and packed with protein. Perfect for fat loss, muscle retention, meal prep, and staying consistent when life gets busy.
