🥪 Pulled Chicken Sandwich
📝 Ingredients:
2 cups boneless chicken
2 cups water
1 tsp black pepper
1–2 curry leaves (kadi patta)
Salt to taste
For Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup cream
2 tbsp ketchup
For Filling:
1 cup chopped capsicum
1 chopped onion
1–2 chopped green chilies
1 tsp black pepper
Cheese slices (as required)
Bread slices
Butter (for spreading)
👩🍳 Method:
1. Cook the Chicken:
Take boneless chicken in a pot.
Add water, salt, black pepper, and curry leaves.
Boil well until the chicken is fully cooked.
Remove and shred the chicken.
2. Prepare the Sauce:
In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, cream, and ketchup until smooth.
3. Make the Filling:
In a bowl, add shredded chicken.
Add chopped capsicum, onion, and green chilies.
Pour in the prepared sauce.
Add black pepper and mix well.
Do not add extra salt (mayonnaise already contains salt).
4. Assemble the Sandwich:
Take a bread slice and spread the chicken mixture on it.
Place a cheese slice on top.
Cover with another bread slice.
5. Cook the Sandwich:
Spread butter on the outer sides of the bread.
Heat a pan and lightly grease it.
Cook the sandwich on low flame from both sides until golden and crispy.
6. Serve:
Serve hot with ketchup.
Perfect for lunch boxes or a quick meal!
