Prep time takes about 10 minutes and bake time takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on how well done you like it. This recipe can be left in the oven unsupervised, so you can definitely multi-task accomplishing other things you need to get done!

5 Ingredient Apple Crumble Recipe (Recipes for Breakfast):

Ingredients:

– 3 (or 4) cups of Gluten Free Oatmeal (Rolled Oats is preferred. Can substitute for regular oatmeal)
– Maple Syrup
– Honey
– Cinnamon
– 3-4 tbsp of Coconut Oil (I ended up using butter and olive oil as a substitute since I didn’t have any Coconut Oil in this recipe)
– 2 Apples (Fuji or Honey crisp Apples)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Thinly slice the apples. Set aside in a bowl.
3. In a big mixing bowl, add the oatmeal, cinnamon, maple syrup, honey and butter and mix all together.
4. In a cast iron skillet or baking dish, add a layer of apple then oatmeal mixture. Add the second layer (and third if there is still some left).
5. Once the oven is preheated, bake the dish for 30-45 minutes. In this video, I covered with tin foil for 20 minutes and uncovered for 25 minutes.
6. Feel free to add more honey drizzle after you plate! Ready to serve and enjoy!
