Beetroot Cutlet || Easy And Healthy Snacks Recipe || Quick Snack Recipe || Beetroot Tikki Recipe.
The recipe of beetroot cutlets is easy. boil and then mash beetroot and potatoes. Add spices, mix and shape in tikkis. Then coat them in bread crumbs or semolina (rava) and then pan fry them. For frying, you can add little oil as possible or use a non-stick pan for frying.
Beetroots are favorite tubers and I make many  Beetroot recipes  like beetroot paratha, beetroot halwa, beetroot poori etc.
Basically a mix of vegetables cutlet recipe with grated beet or beetroot as main ingredients. the cutlet or tikki from beet has a dark red or pinkish colour and texture which is inherited from the beetroot. it can be and ideal evening snack or party starter recipe with tomato ketchup or green chutney as side dish.🥰🥰
The beetroot cutlet recipe is the most popular one🥰🥰. Perhaps it is due to the health aspect related to this pan fried snack😞😞. Whatever it is but certainly a healthy snack for your kids and all age groups.🥰🥰
There are many ways and styles for making cutlets .
For this recipe, I prefer to make these as cutlets (breaded) rather than tikki (non-breaded) as I like the combination of a crispy crust and soft filling.
You can also make them without bread or use rava semolina instead to coat.
I have not boiled the beetroot, and it’s not necessary. You can also make cutlets by dipping them in the cornflour or maida / refined flour slurry or you can also use gram flour batter if you want to avoid using cornflour or refined flour .Then the cutlets can be rolled in dry breadcrumbs before air frying / deep frying or shallow fry. You can also coat it with semolina (rava). The coating of semolina gives this tikki a crunchy texture and taste.

• Beetroots 3 pieces
• Boiled Potatoes 🥔🥔 2 pieces
• Onion 2 pieces🧅🧅
• Ginger Chopped 1 tablespoon
• Garlic Chopped 1 tablespoon
• Turmeric Powder 2 tablespoon
• Jeera Or Cumin Powder 1 tablespoon
• Amchur Powder 1 tablespoon
• All Purpose Flour 2 tablespoon
• Gram Flour 1 cup
• Green Chili 3/4 pieces
• Ajowan 1/2 tablespoon
• Bread Crumbs
• Oil
• Salt
