INGREDIENTS:
Chicken Shami Kabab:
– 1 kg Chicken boneless (or with bones)
– 2 inch Ginger (Adrak)
– 1 full Garlic (Lehsan)
– 1 cup Chana dal (Split chickpea lentils)
– 1 large Onion (Pyaz)
– 8 Red chili (Sabat lal mirch)
– 4 Green Chilies (Hari mirch)
– 2 Cinnamon sticks (Darchini)
– 2 Black cardamom (Bari ilaichi)
– 1 tbsp Cumin seeds (Zeera / Jeera)
– 1 tsp Black peppercorns (Sabat kali mirch)
– ½ tsp Turmeric (Haldi)
– 1 tbsp or to taste Salt (Namak)
– 8 cups Water
– ½ cup Cilantro (Dhania)
– ½ cup Mint leaves (Podina)

For cooking (4 kababs):
– 1 tbsp Oil
– 1egg

NOTE: Herbs and spices are used to add flavor to foods and they are extremely low in calories.
