Today I’m going to be sharing with you how to make the softest and most delicious rosca de Reyes, I promise you after you make your own you will NEVER want to buy it from the store! I personally don’t like buying roscas because 99% of the time is dry and has no flavor 😭 time and patience is required when making sweet bread and this one is no exception, it’s very easy just time consuming (4 hours max)

Test your yeast prior to using to prevent from wasting time and ingredients 😉

Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown

Ingredients: 10-12 servings
500 g sifted all purpose flour (about 3 3/4 cup)
10 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp instant yeast
Orange zest from 1 orange
2 eggs and 2 egg yolks
2 tsp orange extract
2 tsp vanilla extract
5.5 oz warm milk(110degrees f) 3/4 cup minus 1 tbsp to get exact measurements or 11 tbsp
6 tbsp unsalted butter at room temp
1/4 tsp salt
Topping:
1/2 cup butter at room temp
3/4 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup powder sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Cherries
Chopped pecans and sliced almonds or fry fruits
