Today on Kirby | Rooted & Rising, I’m sharing one of our favorite ways to use up ripe bananas — fresh milled flour banana bread. This recipe uses freshly milled wheat to create a soft, flavorful loaf that brings together traditional baking with wholesome ingredients.
Fresh milling your flour adds incredible depth of flavor while keeping more of the natural nutrients found in whole grains. If you’re new to fresh milled baking, banana bread is a great place to start because it’s simple, forgiving, and absolutely delicious.
